In Community

On February 12th, we were deeply honoured to receive the Solidaires Award – Social Relevance 2026, presented at the annual Centraide du Grand Montréal gala, for our project “Plein Milieu se loge.”

It was an evening we won’t soon forget, carried by commitment, solidarity, and the celebration of those who, day in and day out, make a real difference in the lives of people in vulnerable situations. Being recognized among them is both an honour and a powerful source of motivation.

The Solidaires Award – Social Relevance: what is it?

The Solidaires Award is presented each year at the Centraide du Grand Montréal gala, which marks the close of the annual campaign and celebrates the outstanding community and philanthropic partners who have distinguished themselves over the past year.

The Social Relevance category holds particular meaning for us: it recognizes concrete actions taken to address current or emerging issues related to poverty and social exclusion, with a special focus on historically marginalized groups.

That is exactly what “Plein Milieu se loge” sets out to do: respond to an urgent issue with actions grounded in the reality of Montrealers.

A historic campaign, a united community

This edition of the Solidaires marks a defining moment for the Greater Montreal community, with nearly $72.5M raised during the 2025 campaign — a new record of generosity, in a context where needs continue to grow. These exceptional results reflect the collective strength that unites Greater Montreal: thousands of donors, engaged businesses, and a network of 375 community organizations working daily alongside one in five people across the territory.

Being part of this network — and being recognized within it — means a great deal to us.

A pat on the back, a push forward

We receive this award as a genuine pat on the back. It’s the kind of recognition that makes you want to go even further. It comes at a meaningful moment, as we prepare to work harder than ever to reach our 2026 goals.

Concrete support for our work

Thanks to this award, $10,000 will directly strengthen two essential pillars of our mission: our homelessness services and our youth prevention initiatives. Additional resources that will have a real, tangible impact on the ground, for the people we walk alongside every day.

Thank you to all of you.

This recognition belongs to everyone. It belongs to every member of our team — to those who wake up each morning with the conviction that things can change, and who work hard to make it happen.

Thank you to Centraide du Grand Montréal for this show of trust. And thank you to everyone who believes in our work and stands with us in this mission.

We keep going. Together. 💛
